RT radiographic method

This method belongs to the basis non-destructive (so called volume) methods. The principle of the method is based on the use of local change of intensity of penetrating radiation that penetrated the tested object. The change of the radiation is recorded on the radiographic film, where the inner volume of the tested object is displayed in negative.

This inspection is focused above all on the detection of inner volume defects in material and in welds.

The inspection is intended for search for defects in the depth ca. 10 รท 100 mm ( isotope Ir192 ) and the RTG lamp is used for smaller depths.
